MICT SETA funded Bay Software into an incubation programme to build Skills Grid. That funding is what turned a hackathon project into a product with time and structure behind it.

What it means for you

A sector body assessed the work and put money behind it. That is a form of due diligence a client does not have to repeat.

Propella Business Incubator

Bay Software is inside the Propella programme in Gqeberha, building Skills Grid with the support, oversight, and business discipline that comes with it.

What it means for you

We are building under people who have done this before, with someone checking the work. The company gets better while the product does.

Cloud partner programmes

We are working through the AWS and Microsoft partner programmes, with certifications in progress. We are on the path, and we are not going to describe ourselves as a tier we have not reached.

What it means for you

You get engineers being formally assessed against the standards of the platforms your systems run on, rather than someone learning on your project.

Nelson Mandela University community

Both of our products are being built for and launched into the Nelson Mandela University community. We are in Gqeberha, and the first people using what we make are our neighbours.

What it means for you

We are close enough to the people affected by our software to hear about it directly, which changes how carefully you build.

If we have not reached a tier, we say we have not reached it. A partner page is the easiest place on a website to overstate things, and the first place a serious buyer checks.

We name relationships, not logos

Using a platform in production is not a partnership. If a name is on this page it is because there is something real behind it: funding, a programme, or an assessment.

The credential is for you, not for us

Every item here exists to answer one question: what does it mean for the person trusting us with their system. If it does not answer that, it should not be on the page.
